Qualifications

• Dental assistant credential and radiography certification as required by Ohio.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Steady hands and genuine patience with anxious patients.
• Able to keep pace through a full day with strict sterilization.
• Chairside experience preferred; recently graduated candidates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down operatories, sterilize instruments, and have the tray ready before the doctor sits down.
• Assist chairside through restorative, surgical, and emergency procedures using four-handed technique.
• Take digital radiographs, intraoral photos, and impressions or digital scans as directed.
• Pour models, fabricate temporaries, and perform expanded functions permitted by your credentials.
• Provide post-operative instructions in plain language and answer patients' questions.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization logs, and operatory stock to OSHA and CDC standards.
