The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. CPR/First Aid and knowledge of dental terminology are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Office and dental practice management software.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
• Take and develop dental x-rays.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Manage patient flow and prepare treatment rooms for procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory procedures, including pouring, trimming models, and fabricating temporary crowns.
• Provide post-operative care instructions to patients.
• Clean and maintain dental equipment and instruments.
• Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies.
