Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant in Phoenix, AZ to support dentists and specialists. You’ll prepare patients and rooms, assist during procedures, and take dental X-rays per state regulations. A focus on clear patient guidance and sterilization will be essential.

Strong communication, teamwork, and a genuine commitment to patient care are required. Prior dental assisting experience is preferred, with wellbeing and development opportunities in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

• X-ray certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records, when permitted by state regulations and within credentials.
• Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
• Create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.
