Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and the clinical team. You’ll prepare patients and rooms, assist during procedures, take X-rays when allowed, and educate patients on oral care. Qualifications

• Radiology competency and ability to take dental X-rays as permitted.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a genuine commitment to patient care and learning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other records per state rules.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an organized, efficient clinical environment.
• Create a welcoming, comfortable experience for patients.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver exceptional care.
