Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support dentists and specialists in delivering high-quality dental care. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, and educate patients on oral hygiene while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Mon–Fri schedule with opportunities for growth and hands-on training. Candidates should meet state credentialing requirements and hold CPR/BLS certification or be able to obtain it before starting.

Qualifications

• Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before your start date.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to patient care.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive, dependable and willing-to-learn attitude.
• Previous dental assisting experience preferred, but qualified new dental assistants may be considered depending on the practice and state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
• Assist dentists and specialists during examinations and dental procedures.
• Take and prepare dental X-rays and other diagnostic records, when permitted by state regulations and within your credentials.
• Provide patients with clear, compassionate guidance on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Maintain appropriate infection control, sterilization and safety standards.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and supplies.
• Support an efficient, organized clinical environment.
• Help create a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.
• Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to deliver exceptional care.
