Job summary

Kids Dental Brands is seeking a bilingual Dental Assistant to join our Danville, Virginia team. You will work chairside with dentists, take X-rays, prepare instruments, and educate families on oral health in both English and Spanish. This role offers a supportive, kid-focused environment with opportunities for growth in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Virginia Radiology Certification or DANB Radiology Certification required.
• Experience in pediatric dental settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition).
• Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.
