Job summary

Kids Dental Brands’ Wilmington office is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join its patient‑focused team. You’ll support dentists chairside, take radiographs, sterilize instruments, and help educate children and families on oral care.

You’ll work in a bright, modern environment designed for kids, with no nights, predictable daytime hours, and opportunities for professional growth within a growing doctor‑led network. An essential role in delivering high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• DA certificate required to practice as a dental assistant.
• Radiation certification required or in process for safe imaging.
• Ability to work with children and families in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition)
• Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families
