Job summary

Kids Dental Brands is expanding its Happy Smiles (Meridian) practice in Meridian, MS. We seek a compassionate Dental Assistant to support pediatric patients, assist dentists, and maintain a welcoming environment for children and families. You will perform x-rays, chairside support, sterilization, and patient education, helping ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role emphasizes compassionate communication, teamwork, and a stable daytime schedule in a growing pediatric dental network.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/BLS Certification is required.
• Mississippi Dental Radiology Permit is required.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition).
• Review medical histories, take vitals, and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.

What You'll Do

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care
