Job summary

Kids Dental Brands in Springfield, OH is seeking a compassionate Dental Assistant to join a pediatric-focused team. You will support clinicians chairside, take X-rays, prepare instruments, and educate families to promote healthy smiles.

Responsibilities

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care.
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays).
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings.
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition).
• Review medical histories, take vitals and update records.
• Help children feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families.

What You’ll Do

• Work chairside with dentists to support high-quality patient care
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Assist with procedures including impressions, extractions, and fillings
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene (brushing, flossing, nutrition)
• Review medical histories, take vitals (blood pressure and pulse), and update records
• Help children feel comfortable and confident before, during, and after treatment
• Provide post-treatment care instructions to patients and families

Position Requirements

• Current CPR Certification
• Ohio Radiology Certification

$20 - $26 an hour

Coronal Polishing, Sealant certification and nitrous monitoring are a plus!
