Job summary

WEST COAST DENTAL ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES LLC is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our California DSO team. The role involves supporting providers with patient care, radiography, charting, and compliance in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Ideal candidates have active CA Dental Assistant certification, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of experience. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Competitive hourly pay with benefits including insurance and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active California Dental Assistant certification required by state law.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Experience with Denticon or similar dental software preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure sterilization of instruments.
• Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take digital X-rays in compliance with California radiology standards.
• Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately.
• Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance.
• Support front office when needed to enhance patient experience.
