Position Description:

Part‑time positions available as Adjunct faculty.

• Classroom instruction and evaluation of student performance
• Outlining and implementing curriculum and labs for classes

Courses

• Fall: Microbiology and Infection Control (DENA 1050)
• Fall: Dental Assisting I: General Chairside (DENA 1340)
• Spring: Preventive Dentistry (DENA 1030)
• Spring: Dental Assisting II: Dental Specialties and EDDA Skills (DENA 1350)
• Spring: Dental Practice Management (DENA 1400)

NOTE: Lab Tutor positions are part‑time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited, and there is no expectation that your association with Chattahoochee Tech will be extended beyond this term.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current Certified Dental Assistant
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• At least two years’ experience as a DA

Salary/Benefits

• Lump Sum based on the class hours
• There are no State Benefits
• All Chattahoochee Technical College employees must be paid by Direct Deposit unless exempted by the State Accounting Office based on "hardship" evidence provided by the employee
