As a Dental Assistant, you will support dentists, handle intake, update records, sterilize tools, and help maintain a smooth patient flow. We value service, compassion, and excellence as part of our mission to improve community health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic life support certification.
• Current Delaware X-ray certification.
• Six months of experience using Microsoft Office software.
• Six months of experience using electronic dental or medical record software.
• Graduate of accredited dental assisting program or dental assisting experience.

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to and from rooms.
• Ensure proper treatment notes are recorded in the patient’s chart.
• Perform clinical procedures as practice act allows and as directed by dentist.
• Give patient instruction and demonstrate when necessary.
• Monitor patient flow.
• Keep dental units ready, stocked, and clean.
• Sterilize all instruments and handpieces according to the company’s protocol.
• Keep trays, instruments and treatment room drawers organized.
• Arrange patient charts and radiographs for the next day’s appointments.

The Dental Assistants are responsible for providing hands‑on support to Dentists and completing prep work so they can more efficiently care for patients. Their duties include completing intake paperwork and updating patient records, sterilizing, and organizing dental tools and assisting during dental procedures.
