Westside Family Healthcare is hiring Dental Assistants to support Dentists, handle intake paperwork, update records, sterilize tools, and assist during procedures. A $5,000 signing bonus is offered to new teammates who join our Delaware health centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic life support certification required.
• Current Delaware X-ray certification is required.
• Graduate of accredited dental assisting program or dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from rooms.
• Ensure proper treatment notes are recorded in the patient’s chart.
• Perform clinical procedures as practice act allows and as directed by dentist.
• Give patient instruction and demonstrate when necessary.
• Monitor patient flow.
• Keep dental units ready, stocked, and clean.
• Sterilize all instruments and handpieces according to the company’s protocol.
• Keep trays, instruments and treatment room drawers organized.
• Arrange patient charts and radiographs for the next day’s appointments.
