Endodontic Specialists of Wisconsin - Janesville is seeking a talented Dental Assistant to join our busy specialty practice. You will support the dentist, welcome patients, prepare for treatment, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, well-stocked operatory.

The role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. Typical schedule is Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM–3:00 PM, with no weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and X-Ray license preferred where required by law.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Well-organized and able to sit/stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the dental office.
• Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring comfort.
• Selecting and setting up instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Sterilizing instruments according to regulations.
• Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
• Keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked.
• Scheduling appointments and post-op visits.
• Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Mon-Thu 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and Fri 8:00 AM–3:00 PM; no weekends.
