The role involves assisting with a wide range of procedures (fillings, crowns, implants, Invisalign), performing sterilization, and maintaining a clean, organized office. We value reliability, learning mindset, and excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year dental experience preferred but training available.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, implants, Invisalign, sealants, and pulpotomies.
• Independently place sealants using DryShield.
• Polish teeth, floss, and provide oral hygiene instructions (OHI).
• Maintain sterilization and laboratory areas; keep operatories clean.
• Complete cleaning checklists and participate in monthly deep-cleaning projects.

At Dental Nook - Northgate, we're looking for an exceptional Dental Assistant who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and wants to grow alongside a modern, high-performing dental practice.

While a minimum of one year of dental experience is preferred but not required, we are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is eager to learn.

Clinical Skills:

Preferred experience includes:

• Taking a full-mouth series (FMX) in under 5 minutes.
• Taking high-quality orthodontic photos using a professional camera.
• Assisting with a wide variety of procedures, including:
  • Fillings.
  • Crowns.
  • Root canals.
  • Extractions.
  • Wisdom teeth.
  • Implant placement.
  • Invisalign.
  • Sealants.
  • Pulpotomies.
• Independently placing sealants using DryShield.
• Polishing teeth, flossing, and providing oral hygiene instructions (OHI).
• Fabricating temporary crowns or willingness to learn.

Sterilization & Office Support:

Responsibilities also include:

• Maintaining sterilization and laboratory areas.
• Keeping operatories clean and organized throughout the day.
• Completing assigned cleaning checklists.
• Participating in monthly deep-cleaning projects, including:
  • Autoclaves.
  • Ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Treatment rooms.
  • Break room.
  • Floors and common areas.
