Job summary

Nine Eagles Dental Care, a Heartland Dental Supported Practice, seeks a Full-Time Experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Tampa. You’ll enjoy a 4-day work week, a supportive office culture, and access to benefits and growth opportunities.

The role emphasizes patient-first care, state‑of‑the‑art technology, and continuous learning with Dentrix scheduling and iTero/X-ray workflows to support our providers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• State issued Dental Assistant permit and X-ray credentials required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of dental assistant experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate during treatment.
• Review patient health history to provide quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during procedures with four-handed dentistry.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with safety protocols and OSHA & CDC compliance.
• Manage supplies and place/expedite orders as needed.
• Partner with providers to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize workflow.
