Job summary

Nokomis Dental Care, a Heartland Dental supported practice, is seeking a Full-Time Experienced Dental Assistant to join a 15-person team dedicated to patient-focused care and modern technology. You will welcome patients, review health histories, take X-rays, assist dentists with four-handed dentistry, and manage scheduling with Dentrix, following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and manage varying priorities in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey and educate during treatment.
• Review patient health history to ensure safe, quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic images (iTero 3D scanner, digital photography).
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during a wide range of procedures.
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management.
