Job summary

Northwest Endodontics in Woodstock, GA is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. This full-time role supports the doctor, handles radiographs, chairsides, and prepares treatment rooms to keep patients flowing smoothly.

Requirements include GA-active Dental Assistant and Radiology Certification, 1+ year of experience, and strong communication. Competitive benefits are offered with a Monday-Thursday 7:30-5 and Friday 7:30-2 schedule.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant & Radiology Certification in GA required.
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, demonstrating excellent chairside manner
• Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
• Take radiographs of patients using standard digital dental radiographic equipment
• Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; ensure limited to no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, and prepared
• Clean and set up treatment rooms
• Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment
• Order and organize dental supplies

Education

Dental Assistant Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant & Radiology Certification in the state of GA
• 1 or more year(s) of Dental Assisting Experience is required
