Job summary

Cascade Endodontics in Tualatin, OR is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our endodontic team. This full-time position offers a Monday–Thursday schedule from 7 AM to 4 PM and a benefits package including health, life, PTO, and 401k with matching.

You will assist the doctor, take radiographs with digital equipment, manage patient flow, and ensure rooms are clean and ready for procedures. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active OR dental radiology certification is required.
• At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Reliability, punctuality and compassionate patient care are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding patient service with excellent chairside manner.
• Assist the doctor with all dental procedures.
• Take radiographs using digital dental radiographic equipment.
• Maintain patient flow with minimal wait times and flexible timing.
• Clean and prepare treatment rooms.
• Review patient charts and log data during exams and treatments.
• Order and organize dental supplies.

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service for the patient, demonstrating excellent chairside manner
• Assist the doctor with all dental procedures
• Take radiographs of patients using standard digital dental radiographic equipment
• Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; ensure limited to no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, and prepared
• Clean and set up treatment rooms
• Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment
• Order and organize dental supplies

This is a full-time Dental Assistant position with a schedule of: Monday - Thursday 7AM to 4PM

Dental Assistant Qualifications

• Active Dental Radiology Certification in the state of OR
• 1 or more year(s) of Dental Assisting Experience is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
• Reliability and punctuality
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
