Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a qualified Dental Assistant in Minnesota to support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. You will assist during procedures, prepare instruments, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

The ideal candidate is licensed in Minnesota, CPR certified, with strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. Schedule: Tue-Thu 8-5, Fri 8-3. Compensation is $32 per hour with comprehensive benefits as outlined by Smile Brands.

Qualifications

• Active MN Licensed Dental Assistant in good standing
• CPR certification required
• Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including surgeries, fillings, cleanings, and other treatments.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment before, during, and after patient treatment.
• Take digital X-rays, panoramic images, CBCT scans, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare materials for dental procedures (e.g., fillings, impressions, crowns).
• Provide chairside assistance, ensuring patients are comfortable and informed.
• Record and update patient medical histories and treatment plans in the dental software.
• Manage dental instruments and tools, passing them to the dentist as needed during procedures.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.

In this Dental Assistant opportunity, you will support the dental team in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting during dental procedures, preparing instruments, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a caring and professional demeanor, ability to start within a month and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule (days/hours)

T-Th 8-5, F 8-3
