Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Dental Assistant to support our dentists in delivering top-notch care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to patient comfort and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Record patient medical history and vital signs
• Provide patients with oral hygiene instructions and postoperative care guidance
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure privacy and confidentiality
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean clinical environment
• Schedule appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Dental Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program
• X-ray certification (required or willing to obtain, depending on state regulations)
• CPR certification (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with practice management software "Open Dental" is a plus.
