Position Overview:
As a Dental Assistant, you play a vital role in supporting the dental team during treatments, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a smooth workflow. Responsibilities
  • Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
  • Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
  • Ensure infection control, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including scheduling and intake as needed.
  • Assist in managing dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency supplies.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program

Additionally, Dental Assistants are expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as mandated by law.
