Mid America Health is seeking a full-time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team. The position is based out of the Leitchfield, KY area within a 2-hour radius and involves providing portable dental services to children at local schools during school hours.

The role offers an hourly rate of $27 for clinic hours worked and drive time, with no weekend hours and comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, generous PTO, holidays, flex spending, and a Health

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky X-ray License is a MUST.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies and the company van, kept in your possession.
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed.
• Load/unload and setup of dental operatory inside school.
• Perform various administrative duties.

Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Leitchfield , KY area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

• Hourly rate $27.00 hour for clinic hours worked and drive time
• NO weekend hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account
• Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card
• An active Kentucky X-ray License is required for this opportunity
