Mid America Health is seeking a Full Time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team in Elizabethtown, KY. The position runs Monday to Friday, during school hours, with a company-provided vehicle and competitive benefits.

You will travel within a 2-hour radius to provide portable dental services to children at local schools. The role requires a KY X-ray license, CPR for Healthcare Providers, and prior dental assisting experience.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky X-ray License is a MUST.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies and the company van in your possession.
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside schools with chairside procedures.
• Load/unload and set up dental operatory inside schools.
• Perform various administrative duties.

Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description:

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Elizabethtown, KY area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

• Hourly rate $27.00 hour for clinic hours worked and drive time
• NO weekend hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account
• Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card
• An active Kentucky X-ray License is required for this opportunity
