Mid America Health is seeking a Full Time Portable Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team in the Elizabethtown, KY area. The role runs Monday through Friday during school hours, delivering portable dental services to children at local schools in a low-stress, non-private practice setting.

Qualifications

• Kentucky X-ray license is required.
• CPR for Healthcare Providers required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining portable equipment and supplies, and van maintenance.
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures.
• Load/unload and setup of dental operatory inside school.
• Various administrative duties.

Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Elizabethtown, KY area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly rate $27.00 hour for clinic hours worked and drive time


• NO weekend hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account


• Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card


• An active Kentucky X-ray License is required for this opportunity

Job Duties

• Responsible for maintaining portable equipment and supplies as well as maintenance of company van, all which remain in your possession at all times.


• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed


• Responsible with loading/unloading and setup of dental operatory inside school


• Various administrative duties

Job Qualifications
