Mid America Health is seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team. This position is based out of Owensboro, KY, and serves children at local schools with portable dental services.

Work is Mon–Fri during school hours with a company vehicle and full benefits. A Kentucky X-ray license and CPR certification are required; travel within a 2-hour radius is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Kentucky X-ray License is a MUST.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies and vehicle.
• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside schools.
• Load/unload and set up dental operatory inside schools.
• Perform various administrative duties.

Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description

Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Owensboro, KY area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting.

• Hourly rate $27.00 hour for clinic hours worked and drive time
• NO weekend hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account
• Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card
• An active Kentucky X-ray License is required for this opportunity

• Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed.
• Responsible with loading/unloading and setup of dental operatory inside school.
