Job description

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is one of the fastest growing, multi-specialty dental groups in the country.

The company’s team of 100+ award-winning doctors provide a full range of general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and board-certified pediatric dental services across Rodeo locations throughout the United States.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Active CPR and AED training
  • Current certification to monitor Nitrous Oxide
  • Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, and Infection Control training
  • Experience with dental practice management software (Open Dental/Dentrix) is helpful
  • Sealant, Coronal Polishing, or PALS Certifications are a plus
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
  • Must have an active, valid Driver’s License for travel to different work sites during the day
  • Compensation Range: $20-$24 per hour

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Prioritize patient and team safety
  • Follow OSHA and Infection Control protocols, dispose of sharps and waste safely
  • Maintain digital patient records including health history, insurance, treatment plans, and procedures
  • Educate patients and parents on oral health benefits
  • Monitor patient well-being during visits
  • Prepare tray setups per doctor’s preferences
  • Clean, disinfect, and organize exam rooms and operatories before and after patient interactions
  • Update patient charts with treatment details
  • Review patient charts and health history before doctor arrives
  • Take diagnostic X-Rays and attach to patient records
  • Assist in cleaning surfaces and common areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged sitting and standing
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
