Job Summary

Penn Dental Medicine's Prosthodontics team seeks an experienced Dental Assistant to prepare and maintain dental operatories, assist chairside, sterilize instruments, take radiographs, and potentially work at the front desk. Responsibilities include managing supplies, collaborating with laboratory teams, and ensuring compliance with policies and protocols.

Responsibilities
  1. Greet patients and set up according to standards.
  2. Clean and prepare operatories, take X-rays, and assist with treatments.
  3. Coordinate procedures and maintain supplies.
  4. Track lab cases and maintain equipment.
  5. Ensure confidentiality and follow through on commitments.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED.
  • Technical training or certification and 3-5 years of experience.
  • Solid understanding of dental terminology, treatments, and procedures.
Skills and Competencies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively.
