Job summary

Swish Dental is a privately owned dental practice in Texas seeking a highly motivated Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. You will support the dentist across procedures, take radiographs, document patient data, and ensure rooms and instruments are prepared for safe, efficient care.

The ideal candidate holds a Dental Assisting certificate, Texas RDA license after 1+ year, and CPR/BLS. Flawless English, good teamwork, and willingness to travel to other locations are essential in our

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting course is required.
• Texas RDA license is required after 1+ years of certification.
• CPR and/or BLS certification is required.
• Familiarity with dental terminology is preferred.
• Ability to travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform dental radiographs and scans.
• Document baseline patient information.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms.
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout the visit.
• Take impressions of patients' teeth.
• Communicate effectively with the team.
• Maintain a team-first, patient-first mentality.
• Adhere to state, federal, and local compliance standards.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans
• Document baseline patient information
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout the visit
• Take impressions of patients' teeth
• Communicate effectively and efficiently

• Continuously increase dentistry knowledge and job skills
• Adhere by State, Federal, and local compliance standards

Required Skills And Abilities

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting Course required

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• This position may be required to sit or stand for long periods
• This position may be required to work more than 40 hours per week
• This position is in a clinical studio environment which can be noisy and distracting
