Job summary

Swish Dental in Austin, TX is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. You will assist the dentist during procedures, take radiographs, prepare and sterilize instruments, and ensure patient comfort.

Ideal candidates are fluent in English, have a dental assisting certificate, and maintain CPR/BLS certification. Texas RDA license is required after 1+ year certification; some travel to other locations may be needed.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; verbal and written.
• Familiarity with dental terminology.
• Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms.
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout their visit.
• Take impressions of patients' teeth.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a “team first” and “patient first” mentality.
• Continuously increase dentistry knowledge and job skills.
• Adhere by State, Federal, and local compliance standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans
