Job summary

West Coast Dental Services in California is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing DSO network. You will support providers, prepare treatment rooms, and help deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires active CA DA certification, CA-compliant X-ray certification, and CPR/BLS. Experience with Denticon is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active California Dental Assistant certification per state law.
• X-ray certification (California compliant).
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
• Experience with Denticon or similar dental software preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments.
• Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take digital X-rays in compliance with CA radiology standards.
• Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately.
• Provide patient education on post-treatment care and oral hygiene.
• Maintain inventory and assist with ordering dental supplies.
• Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control compliance.
• Support front office when needed to enhance patient experience.
