Job summary

West Coast Dental Services in California is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing DSO team. You will support providers in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

You will prepare treatment rooms, assist during procedures, take X-rays, and manage charting and education while maintaining OSHA/HIPAA compliance. This role requires CA certification, X-ray cert, CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year of experience; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active California Dental Assistant certification is required by state law.
• X-ray certification in California is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred.
• Experience with Denticon or similar dental software preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take digital X-rays in compliance with CA radiology standards.
• Chart procedures and document clinical notes accurately.
