King County is seeking two Dental Assistants to join the Public Health Dental team in Seattle. The role involves assisting with various dental procedures, maintaining patient records, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Ideal candidates will have a current dental assistant registration, relevant training, and a commitment to equity and social justice in healthcare.
Are you a capable and committed dental assistant who understands common dental procedures, maintains focus, and keeps dental office operations running smoothly? If so, Public Health Dental is seeking two (2) Dental Assistantsto join its dynamic team! Public Health dental assistants work to the full scope of their certification under the supervision of a Dentist or Dental Hygienist as well as the Dental Clinic Supervisor in a variety of dental restoration and prevention procedures and other related duties as required in a dental clinic and/or community health setting. Our dental clinics use Epic, Wisdom electronic dental clinics. Training in Epic Wisdom is provided for all clinical employees.
Background
Public Health Dental serves a diverse population of clients, both children and adults, from a wide range of economic, cultural and differently abled backgrounds. This includes seniors, pregnant or postpartum women, LGBTQIA+, clients experiencing homelessness and clients experiencing and recovering from substance abuse illness.

Work Schedule
The typical work schedule for Eastgate and North Public Health Dental is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00pm. These positions are 1.0 FTE at 40 hours per week. These positions are subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible.
Work Location
The primary work location for these positions will be based out of the North Seattle Public Health Dental Clinic located at 12359 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA 98125 and Eastgate Dental Clinic located at 14350 SE Eastgate Way, Bellevue, WA 98007. As business needs dictate, the incumbent may be asked to provide backfill assistance at any of our other dental clinic locations. Those locations include:
