Advanced Dentistry is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team.

Schedule:

  1. Monday: 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  2. Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  3. Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  4. Thursday: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  5. Friday: Off
  6. Saturday: 2X per month 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

More about the role
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment
  • Review patient health history to provide quality care
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments
  • Provide chairside assistance during procedures, adhering to state dental practice laws
  • Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
  • Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
  • Manage supplies and inventory, and place orders as needed
  • Collaborate with the team to implement systems and optimize workflow

Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
  • Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
  • Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to protect patient information and comply with HIPAA and related regulations
Preferred Experience
  • 1+ years in a dental setting
  • Experience with Dentrix or similar software
  • Dental assisting certification
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations
  • Prolonged sitting and standing
  • Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
  • Availability for periodic training sessions
  • TB test required before employment (except in FL & TN)
