Advanced Dentistry is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team.
Schedule:
- Monday: 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Tuesday: 7:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 6 p.m.
- Thursday: 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.
- Friday: Off
- Saturday: 2X per month 7:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

More about the role
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring their comfort and providing education throughout treatment
- Review patient health history to provide quality care
- Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, adhering to state dental practice laws
- Use Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping
- Prepare treatment rooms following safety protocols and OSHA & CDC guidelines
- Manage supplies and inventory, and place orders as needed
- Collaborate with the team to implement systems and optimize workflow

Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
- Dental assistant and/or x-ray certification as required by state law
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to protect patient information and comply with HIPAA and related regulations
Preferred Experience
- 1+ years in a dental setting
- Experience with Dentrix or similar software
- Dental assisting certification
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform duties with or without accommodations
- Prolonged sitting and standing
- Lift and carry up to 45 pounds
- Availability for periodic training sessions
- TB test required before employment (except in FL & TN)
