Imagen Dental Partners in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Dental Assistant to join a high-tech practice focused on exceptional patient care. You will welcome patients, assist the doctor, prepare rooms, take digital X-rays, and educate patients on treatment plans.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant.
• High school diploma or GED.
• State certifications such as Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or RDAEF.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor during dental procedures and provide care.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Maintain patient records and educate patients on oral health and treatment plans.
• Follow OSHA/HIPAA guidelines and ensure a clean, sterilized environment.

What You'll Do

• Assist the doctor during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take digital X-rays and maintain patient records

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
