As a dental assistant, you will be involved in patient care, appointment scheduling, and supporting dentists in various procedures. Duties at the grade GS-02 level:
This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children. Due to this, the agency must ensure that persons hired have not been found guilty of or pleaded nolo contendere or guilty to certain crimes.
Adherence to the IHS Employee Immunization Policy, SGM 21-04, and the IHS Circular 2016-04 is required, including immunizations for Measles and Rubella, COVID-19, and seasonal influenza for staff working in Indian Health Service facilities, or an exemption request must be submitted.

CERTIFICATION TO ADMINISTER RADIOLOGIC PROCEDURES
Persons must meet credentialing standards in 42 CFR Part 75, including educational and certification requirements, as detailed in the regulation.
Specialized experience for GS-4 and above includes dental assistance, dental assistant (expanded functions), or related work.
You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date.
