Capozzi Dental Group in Prospect, CT is seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. You will greet patients, assist the doctor, and manage chairside procedures with four-handed dentistry while maintaining clean, sterile operatory spaces.

Responsibilities include taking x-rays when needed, entering treatment plans, and ensuring supplies are stocked. A GED or high school diploma and strong customer service are required.

Responsabilités

• Act as liaison between patient and doctor.
• Set up trays as indicated by the day’s charts.
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs.
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry.
• Enter treatment plans.
• Take x-rays as needed.
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient.
• Take alginates, pour and trim models.
• Package and sterilize instruments.
• Keep operatory fully stocked.

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask.

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed

Requirements

Available to work during current office hours:

• Monday - 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday - 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday - 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday - 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday - 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Preferred Qualities:

• Dental Office Experience
• Dentrix Ascend software experience
• X-Ray and ICE Certification
