Job summary

Quinnipiac Endodontics and Main Street Dental in New Britain, CT seeks a motivated Part-time Dental Assistant. You will greet patients, assist doctors, set up trays, and manage x-rays in a busy office environment.

The role requires excellent customer service, a willingness to learn, and the ability to commute to New Britain and Wallingford. Prior dental office experience is preferred and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow as part of a family-oriented team.
• Ability to commute to New Britain, CT and Wallingford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat patients
• Act as a liaison between the patient and the doctor
• Set up trays as indicated by the days’ charts
• Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs in advance
• Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Enter treatment plans
• Take x-rays as needed
• Clean and disinfect operatory after each patient
• Take alginates/pour and trim models
• Package and sterilize instruments
• Keep operatory fully stocked

Currently, we're in search of a highly motivated Part-time Dental Assistant. Candidate should have a strong work-ethic, be a team player and possess the ability to multitask

Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Greet and seat patients

Available to work during current office hours:

• Monday - 7:30am - 5pm
• Wednesday - 7:30am - 5pm (Wallingford)
• Friday - 7:30am - 5pm
