Job summary

a-teamdentalstaffing seeks a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with a current California X-ray license to join a fast-paced dental office in Modesto. The CDA will provide chairside assistance, take digital X-rays, sterilize tools, and support front/back office operations to ensure patient comfort and efficient practice flow.

Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma, are certified or have at least 1 year of experience, and possess reliability, coachability, and a patient-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• X-Ray license or certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures.
• Take and develop digital X-rays (must be licensed in California).
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and operatories.
• Ensure patient comfort and maintain excellent patient communication.
• Support the front and back office as needed.
• Maintain proper inventory of supplies and cleanliness standards.
• Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 8:00am -5:00pm

Requirements

• High school diploma
• graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
• Dental Assistant Certification or at least 1 year minimum dental experience
• X-Ray License
