Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to deliver care in mobile exam rooms, serving Army, Navy, Air Force, and National Guard members. You will capture BW & PANO X-rays, assist chair-side, and perform basic admin tasks while supporting deployment readiness.

Ideal candidates hold CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA and Radiology Certification, with CPR/BLS. Weekend availability is required; mileage reimbursement and nourishment allowance are included, plus biweekly pay and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Credentials must include Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA) and Radiology Certification.
• CPR/BLS certification is required for this role.
• Experience with 4-handed dentistry and digital tools is preferred, with military background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories to ensure deployment readiness.
• Capture BW & PANO digital X-rays and maintain instrument sterilization.
• Provide chair-side assistance and perform basic admin duties as needed.

Your Role

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring military members are deployment-ready.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skills & Experience: Skilled in 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools, with a preference for those with prior military experience.
• Access to Military Bases: Eligibility for base entry is required; a background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
• Availability: Weekends when you are available!

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
• Mileage Reimbursement (25 Miles from Home Address, GSA rate)
• Per Diem for each day worked
• Flights, Hotel, Rental Cars are all provided based on parameters set by the compay
