Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a part-time Dental Assistant to support military members by delivering dental exams, treatments, and X-rays in mobile settings. You will work primarily on weekends with some weekday needs while enjoying mileage reimbursement and nourishment allowances.

Responsibilities include chair-side assistance, digital X-ray capture, instrument sterilization, and light administrative duties to keep deployments ready and patients serviced efficiently.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant credentials (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Eligible for base entry and able to pass background checks.

• Provide dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories to military service members.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW and PANO) and sterilize instruments.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative tasks as needed.

Your Role

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring military members are deployment-ready.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skills & Experience: Skilled in 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools, with a preference for those with prior military experience.
• Access to Military Bases: Eligibility for base entry is required; a background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
• Availability: Weekends when you are available.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
• Mileage Reimbursement (25 Miles from Home Address, GSA rate)
• Per Diem for each day worked
• Flights, Hotel, Rental Cars are all provided based on parameters set by the compay
