Job summary

DOCS Health in Fort Benning, GA seeks a dedicated Dental Assistant to support military service members with mobile dental exams, treatments, and X-rays in mobile exam rooms and operatories. You will capture digital X-rays (BW and PANO), assist chair-side, and perform basic admin tasks to keep clinic flow smooth.

Credentials include CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA and Radiology Certification, with CPR/BLS. Weekend availability is preferred, and eligibility to access military bases is required.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA/RDA/EDDA/EFDA) and Radiology Certification.
• Skilled in 4-handed dentistry and digital tools.
• Prior military experience is a plus.

Your Role

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring military members are deployment-ready.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.

Requirements

• Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skills & Experience: Skilled in 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools, with a preference for those with prior military experience.
• Access to Military Bases: Eligibility for base entry is required; a background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
• Availability: Weekends when you are available.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
• Mileage Reimbursement (25 Miles from Home Address, GSA rate)
• Per Diem for each day worked
• Flights, Hotel, Rental Cars are all provided based on parameters set by the compay
