Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support military service members through mobile dental care in exam rooms and operatories, ensuring deployment readiness and high-quality care.

You will capture digital X-rays (BW and PANO), assist chair-side, and handle basic administrative tasks while meeting credential requirements and base-entry eligibility. Weekend availability is required; biweekly pay and travel reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, or EFDA) and Radiology Certification.
• CPR/BLS certification; ability to work in 4-handed dentistry.
• Eligibility for military base entry; background check and drug screening.
• Weekend availability required.

Your Role

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories, ensuring military members are deployment-ready.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and handle instrument sterilization.
• Perform chair-side assistance and basic administrative duties as needed.

Requirements

• Credentials: Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skills & Experience: Skilled in 4-handed dentistry, proficient with digital tools, with a preference for those with prior military experience.
• Access to Military Bases: Eligibility for base entry is required; a background check, criminal record check, and drug screening will be conducted.
• Availability: Weekends when you are available!

Compensation

• Hourly Rate
• Mileage Reimbursement (25 Miles from Home Address, GSA rate)
• Per Diem for each day worked
• Flights, Hotel, Rental Cars are all provided based on parameters set by the compay
