Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Center in Midland Park, New Jersey is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the clinical team with patient care and procedures.

The ideal candidate has prior dental assisting experience, X-Ray certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent. We offer a full-time schedule with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake.
• Assist in managing medical emergencies with CPR certification and emergency supplies.

As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment. • Full time: Monday 10am-7pm, Tuesday 10am-5pm, Wednesday 10am-6pm, Friday 10am-5pm and one Saturday a month 9am-2pm

• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
