Pediatric Dentistry of Midland Park in Midland Park, New Jersey is seeking a Dental Assistant to support our clinical team with high-quality patient care in a team-based environment. The ideal candidate has X-Ray certification and a high school diploma, with prior dental assisting experience.

Qualifications

• X-Ray certification is required.

• Annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR and infection control training as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.
• Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)
• Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.

Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics Center is looking for a Dental Assistant in Midland Park, New Jersey to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

As a Dental Assistant you are an integral part of the care team in providing support to the office and assisting the professional dental staff with treatment.
