Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant who shares our passion for patient care and education, and for creating a welcoming environment. This position will be scheduled to work on Mondays & Tuesdays.

You will provide chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, take and process X-Rays, enter treatment plans, and help maintain clean operatory spaces while educating patients on the importance of oral health and how to maintain it.

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program, certification as required by the State Dental Board
• Radiology certification required to be compliant with the State Dental Board
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
