Job summary

Elite Dental Partners LLC is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to support Dentists and Hygienists, deliver a superior patient experience, and educate patients on oral health. The position works Thursdays 8:00am - 6:00pm and includes opportunities for growth.

Requirements include a dental assisting program and radiology certification. Experience is preferred, with strong communication and teamwork skills to create a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists, including charting and operatory setup.
• Take and process X-rays and ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment plans.
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files.
• Sterilize all equipment and operatories.

Job description

We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment. This position is scheduled to work Thursdays 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment
• Take and process X-Rays
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health and how it is best maintained

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program, certification as required by the State Dental Board
• Radiology certification required to be compliant with the State Dental Board
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
