Job summary

Swish Dental, a Texas-based practice, seeks a motivated Dental Assistant (RDA) to support clinicians and patients. You will assist during procedures, take x-rays, and ensure clean, sterile environments while upholding patient-first care.

The role requires a Texas RDA license after one year, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to travel between locations if needed. An opportunity for professional growth and comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with common dental terminology.
• Willingness to travel to other locations as needed.
• CPR/BLS certification is required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans.
• Document baseline patient information.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms.
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout the visit.
• Take impressions of patients’ teeth.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team.
• Maintain a teamwork- and patient-first attitude.
• Continuously increase dentistry knowledge and skills.
• Adhere to state, federal, and local standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans
• Document baseline patient information
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout their visit

Required Skills and Abilities

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certificate of Completion from a Dental Assisting Course required
• Texas RDA License required after 1+ years of certification

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• This position is in a clinical studio environment which can be noisy and distracting
