Job summary

Swish Dental in Texas is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our collaborative clinical team in Austin. You will support the dentist across procedures, take radiographs, prepare and sterilize instruments, and ensure patient comfort throughout visits.

This role requires strong communication, a team-first attitude, and a commitment to ongoing learning and compliance. Qualifications include a high school diploma, a Dental Assisting certificate, CPR/BLS, and Texas RDA licensure after

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with dental terminology is required.
• Ability to travel to other locations as needed.
• Basic computer skills for charting and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout their visit
• Take impressions of patients' teeth
• Communicate effectively and efficiently
• Maintain a “team first” and “patient first” mentality
• Continuously increase dentistry knowledge and job skills
• Adhere by State, Federal, and local compliance standards

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms
