Job summary

Imagen Dental Partners in Hutchinson, MN is seeking a Dental Assistant who welcomes patients, supports the doctor, and helps create a comfortable, efficient back-office. We welcome both licensed and unlicensed applicants and provide a positive, patient-focused team environment.

This 4-day workweek offers no weekends, with shifts on weekdays and an optional Friday half-day. Competitive pay up to $30/hour (unlicensed) or $35/hour (licensed) plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience as a Dental Assistant preferred, new grads considered.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• State-required certifications such as Radiology, CPR, RDA/RDAEF as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and seat them in the treatment room.
• Assist the doctor with patient care and procedures.
• Monitor lab materials and supplies; maintain radiographs.
• Ensure OSHA/HIPAA compliance and sterilize equipment.
• Build rapport with patients and support team objectives.

Schedule

• Monday: 6:30 AM - 4:15 PM
• Tuesday: 6:30 AM - 4:15 PM
• Wednesday: 6:30 AM - 4:15 PM
• Thursday: 6:30 AM - 4:15 PM
• Every other Friday (optional): 7:15 AM - 12:15 PM

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year+ of experience working as a Dental Assistant preferred, open to consider new grads
• High school diploma or GED.
• Other certifications as required by the state, as an example: Radiology Certification, CPR, Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Registered Dental Assistant in Extended Functions (RDAEF), etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Dentrix, Eaglesoft or similar dental softwares, is preferred.
